Legendary Scottish spirit seeks modern day rebels to compete in this grueling 100 mile adventure race in Scotland. The Drambuie Pursuit is a grueling adventure race across the scottish highlands that retraces the legendary voyage of Bonnie Prince.

Drambuie began its famed history more than 260 years ago as a custom-made spirit for Scotland’s Bonnie Prince Charlie. Defeated in his attempts to regain the British throne, the prince took flight across the Scottish Highlands. He rewarded his loyal followers with the secret recipe for Drambuie as a token of thanks.

The Drambuie Pursuit is the ultimate adventure, an all expenses paid race across Scotland that will take place in April 2008. This once-in-a-lifetime experience will retrace the legendary origins of Drambuie liqueur in 1745 when a zealous Scottish Prince fled from captivity.

In the Drambuie Pursuit event, 15 teams of 4 adults will race over 100 miles of breathtaking highland terrain from the Isle of Skye to historic Inverness. The teams will compete in speedboat and dirt buggy races, hill climbing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, biking and other activities as they race to the finish line.
